The Raleigh Pioneer 2 is a premium city trekking bike designed for durability and comfort with high quality components for reliability. A very nice "Town & Country" bike.

Benefiting from Raleigh's comfort trekking geometry you have an upright riding position with less pressure on the lower back but still a very efficient riding position. The adjustable stem gives you the ability to fine tune your riding position.

Comfort on the Pioneer 2 is enhanced by the Zoom 140 suspension fork with 50mm travel to help smooth out the bumps, a Selle Royal Nuvola premium gel saddle coupled with suspension seat post and comfort grips.  

21 speed Shimano gears with EZ fire shifters gives a great range of gear ratios and quick gear selection at your finger tips.

The Pioneer 2 also benefits from rims with machine finished braking surfaces for improved performance, light-action alloy V-brakes, strong durable double walled rims, easy rolling 700C/28" wheels and puncture proof tyres.

Completing the Raleigh Pioneer 2 packaging are full length mudguards and chain cover giving protection for clean cycling and, for extra convenience, a rear carrier and an alloy kickstand are included.
