Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, the boutique property in Belgravia, has partnered with British company Kingston Bicycles to create four bespoke bicycles for its guests. Kingston Bicycles’ classic ‘Belgravia’ model has been redesigned exclusively for the hotel with red, white and blue fittings complemented by ‘best of British’ motifs. The Belgravia Bikes are now available for hotel guests to borrow along with a local cycling guide to Belgravia and beyond created by London cycling specialists Tally Ho! Cycle Tours.
Featuring British icons such as red telephone boxes, Coldstream guards, teacups and umbrellas, as well as the Union Jack flag, the four bikes come in two different designs and sizes and are available for hotel guests to borrow free-of-charge through the concierge team.
The self-guided ‘Belgravia & Beyond By Bicycle’ map and guide is also complimentary for all hotel guests. Starting and finishing at Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel, the route takes in points of interest such as Belgrave Square, one of Belgravia’s leafy garden squares; Wellington Arch; the Serpentine lake and The Albert Memorial in Hyde Park, as well as offering insider tips to the local area that guests might otherwise not discover. These include recommended refreshment stops such as the recently-opened Fine Cheese Co. or the chocolate café at Rococo Chocolates, alongside historic mews pubs such as The Star Tavern and The Grenadier.
Guests looking for an accompanied tour can arrange a personalised experience with Tally Ho! Cycle Tours through the hotel concierge team.
